Is there a way to disable Cisco VIC when not needed on C220 M3?

I am using an older C220 M3 in a lab environment. I am not using any RAID cards and am only using the on board LSI MegaRAID with SATA drives. Clearly, a standalone installation. The frustration I have been having is that every time I have to reboot, which is often for what I am doing, I have to wait an excruciatingly long time for the 2 revolutions of the invocation of Cisco VIC, FC.... I don't need VIC and am not using it. I have everything in BIOS boot order disabled except USB and the on board SATA's. I have tried to find the answer, but have come up short...can I make this boot process any faster?

Hello,

that is a fairly old device, so I am not sure I remember it correctly, but I think there is a WebUI that has some settings for the VIC boot behavior.

Have a look at the link below (especially the procedure described under 2.)_:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c/hw/C220/install/C220/replace.html#91079

This is helpful info. In fact, it does tell me exactly what I need to do. Challenge is finding a older browser/flash/Java version that will allow me to do it. Thanks!
