Hi Guys,

I have a similar challenge to the one below :

https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2001372?tstart=0

But the only difference is that mine only shows:

INFO: You must accept this License Agreement to proceed with the installation.
INFO: If you enter N/n, the installation will exit.
Do you accept all the terms of the License Agreement? (y/n) [n]:y

root@TTEXMUX14 # find -name SOL_ITOOLS33_20090424_2302

And terminate.

Can you assist me around this, below is more information:

I asked our Unix Engineers to rollback to Solaris 10 05/09 and the

installation seems to be going well even though i ignored the April 2007 solaris patch requirement for now.

I know have a famous challenge of display names:

Some of the devices appears with hostname and majority with hostnames, i have followed many solution provided in other discussions but still no solution. Have anyone got a proper fix for this?

Now that the problem has changed, please start a new thread to keep the issues separate.

Hi, I'm having exactly the same problem with the same error messages and the same data, I also have installed Solaris 10 release 09/10. Did you find new problems while installing the LMS with the release 05/09 or everything went fine?

Thank you very much.

We're starting to see more and more users install on Oracle-branded Solaris.  There is a workaround to installing on newer Solaris.  You can modify /etc/release, and remove the word "Oracle" from the release name.  Install LMS, then restore the original file.  We're still trying to get an official word from development as to what our Solaris support plans are.

Great! I've applied the workaround and the LMS 3.2 is now installed!

Thank you very much!

Hi Joe,

Is there already an official word from development? Is the workaround supported by TAC?

Many thanks.
