LMS 3.2 SP1: DCR Server is down or inaccessible

Hi,

This is a fresh installation. DCR Server process is running but it is inaccesible.

dcr.log is empty and dcrserver.log stay that the process has startet OK.

I found some errors in dcrclient.log (attached).

This is a Windows 2008 Standard Server SP2. I had some issues during installation as the setup.exe truncate the hostname to XCAT-PRO-SRV-GE when the correct one is XCAT-PRO-SRV-GEST-LMS. I used the perl script to change the hostname properlly (I thought).

Any help would be appreciated,

diego

Post the install logs from the C:\Ciscoworks_Install.xxx.log or /var/tmp directory. Ensure that you have disabled firewall and all security settings to ensure a smooth installation. And ensure that the services are in the default state for startup and post the pdshow output as well.

These services should be automatic:

CiscoWorks Daemon Manager

CWCS rsh/rcp service

CWCS syslog service

CWCS tftp service

All others should be manual:

CiscoWorks Ani Database Engine

CiscoWorks RME NG database Engine

CiscoWorks Tomcat Servlet engine

CiscoWorks Web Server

CWCS Cmf database engine

And all the DFM and IPM databases and HUM if installed.

OpsXMLRuntime

The service startup are properlly set and Firewall is OFF. Find attached the required info.

Regards,

Hello,

We modified the hostame to XCAT-PRO-SRV-CW and run the hostnamechange.pl script again. It seems that it works now.

Thanks,
