Hello,
I installed LMS 4.0 evaluation version on a test server and encountered the following issues:
1. Installation
During installation several Installshield errors appeared. Nevertheless installation finished successfuly.
2. IPSLA
I am unable to create an IP SLA collector. No devices are shown under Source devices although there is a cat3750 switch added to the LMS.
3. DFM
Several menus associated with DFM do not open. Instead error messages appear. The menus include:
Monitor> Fault Settings> Setup
Monitor> Threshold Settings> Fault
Reports> Fault and Event> History
4. VRF Lite
Errors are returned when accessing the following menus:
Admin> Network> Purge Settings> VRF Lite Purge Settings
Admin> Collection Settings> VRF Lite> VRF Lite Collector Schedule
5. UT
Errors are returned when accessing the menus:
Inventory> User Tracking Settings> Acquisition Summary
Admin> Collection Settings> User Tracking> Acquisitions Info
Admin> Collection Settings> User Tracking> Dynamic Update Process Status
6. RME
Inventory> Dashboards> Device Status: Collection summary - displays error:
Sorry, an error occurred
7. Software Management
Flash size is reported incorrectly. Instead of 16MB it appears as 15MB. Because of this it is impossible to upgrade IOS using LMS.
Did anyone experience similar issues and find a solution?
Thank you in advance,
Gunars

It looks like LMS has a bug with SNMPv3 and IP SLA configuration. I can provide a patch that should fix this. Click on the Open Service Request link in the Actions panel in this thread, and have your TAC engineer contact me to get the patch. Given that this looks like a bug, it will be okay to open an SR for an eval.

I tried to open a SR but am now stuck at the page where serial number or product name must be entered. What should I enter for the evaluation version?

If you do not have another contract under which you can open the SR, then you will need to call Cisco directly to open the SR. They should be able to open the SR given that your problem appears to be a software bug.

I installed the patch and the IPM issue seems to be fixed. I can now add c3750 as a source and create a collector.
Thank you for the fix!
Meantime I wanted to ask if you had time to take a look at the DFM issues about which I also created a new thread as you asked: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2054282 ?

Yes, I heard the fix work. Glad to hear it. No, I have not had time to look at the DFM issue. But if you're getting an error, you should post a screenshot of the error to your thread. That will float it back to the top of the thread list. I may be able to look at this weekend if no one else jumps in before that.

New bug CSCtk63285 filed to track the issue. A patch for this bug is available by calling the TAC.
