Hello,
We have problems with ANI Server on a recent LMS 4.0 installation, the process appears with the state " Running with busy flag set" (always looks like on the same state), and we can connect with the service topology pluging and I can see topology maps, etc. But the problem appears when we try the access to any ANI Server Report (ANI Server Analisys for example although happens with the others reports) we obtain always a notification windows with the following error message: "Unable to load properties from server. Please try after some time".
If we try running the reports from local server (to avoid any problems related to the client computer) we obtain the same error.
We make some test:
A similar think happens when access to "Data collection Critical Devices Poller" whe obtain a notification windows that says that the "Ani Server may be down..", maybe are related?

The current user doesn't matter. Internally, LMS uses the IE API as casuser to make HTTP connections. You need to make sure that casuser isn't using a proxy. If your administrator setup a server-wide proxy for all accounts, can they revert that for casuser? Alternatively, if you launch IE as casuser (you will first need to set casuser's password to a known value using NMSROOT/setup/support/resetCasuser.exe), you can make sure casuser's IE settings are not using a proxy.

As casuer, in IE, can you go to http://madcpd02cw:1741/JSP/CAMPUS/ANI/GetAniName.jsp?dmgrName=ANIServer
and post the output?

Hello David
I am seeming this same problem with the ANIServer.
I followed all checks you have done and all is OK.
This installation is on a customer.
On my lab I have the same installation LMS 4.0 updated to LMS 4.01 and I dont see any problems.
Did you get a solution for this problem?
I had open a new thread about my problem, but after 3 hours no reply.
Any help is appreciated
