Hi could you please point me in the right direction for the correct download? For the life of me I can't find the LMS upgrade from v3.1 to v3.2 for windows... I've tried software centre and trawled Cisco.com but without any success. Please help! Thankyou...

Hi Martin,

Is that legible?

Thanks

Andy...

oh yes, it is - luckily there is a scrollbar at the bottom
(but it is also possible to add pictures as and attachment... )
I guess from what I see, that for the software page line 11 should be HUM (look in the upper right corner of the table)

I assume you have 2 problems: QPM and HUM;
QPM 4.1 needs CS 3.2 and the update to LMS 3.2 will bring CS to version 3.3. This will be incompatible. Also, HUM was installed as an Eval Version which can also prevent the installer from starting the automatic backup during installation.
At this point you have to make a decission ...
    - if you want to keep QPM running you cannot upgrade LMS on this server

OR
    - if you do not need QPM, uninstall it from the server
    - if you uninstall QPM I would recommend to also uninstall HUM
OR
    - prepare a seperate server to install LMS 3.2 (and patch it to LMS 3.2.1) as an eval and test what the benefits are for you
    - after testing LMS 3.2 - if you need both (QPM 4.1 and LMS 3.2) you have to go the two-server-way and migrate your license from LMS 3.1 to the newly build LMS 3.2 server (you can also migrate your old data but I would do this only if it is *really* necessary)
    - if you are running LMS 3.2 on a seperate server (than QPM 4.1) you have to uninstall all but CS 3.2 and QPM 4.1 on your old server (because you have only 1 license to run LMS)

OR
    - if you think about a seperate server for testing LMS you should consider of testing LMS 4.0 to be up-to-date (actual patch level is LMS 4.0.1 BUT LMS 4.1 is not that far away...)  (and I heard there are people who like the new interface of LMS 4.x much more than that of LMS 3.x)

keep in mind that LMS 4.x needs a NEW license. But you will get a discount for the upgrade ....

a few options here - if there is lack of clarity at some point.. - tell me
