LMS2.5 Upgrade from Evaluation.

Hi There. We have a client who is running LMS2.5 with an evaluation licence (under Licensing is shows status as SEVT). Is it just a case of purchasing a full licence and installing it into the existing installation or do we need to re-install LMS from the start. Thanks. p.s. There are running LMS on a windows machine if that makes any difference. Thanks again.

You just need to purchase a full license with which you can change the eval version to a full licensed version. So you keep all you custamizations and settings.

So you do not need to reinstall.

You do not need to predefine the OS because you will get both available versions, windows and solaris.

Keep in mind there are 2 licensing models, restricted and unrestricted, whereas the former is limited to 300 devices the later is an unlimited version.
