Hello,
I have a new installation of lms 4.0.1 on windows server 2008R2 (64Bit)
Everything seems to work fine : Topologie OK , Config archive OK .
Except that when I go to:
Admin>collection setting>data collection, I recieve an error message : " Error while loading ANI server"
And if I go to Report>Ani Server Analysis, I got another error message:
* Unable to load properties from server, please try after.."
However, I can do a data collection manually , when I select devices on topology.
Could you please help me .

Hi Michel.
With LMS3.x a similar error would pop up indicating ".. cannot connect to ANI server..."
We were able to resolve the ANI connection problems with using Firefox 2.0 and/or uninstalling and installing the only supported version of Java.
So I would suggest changing the current browser, then, if problem persists, installing earlier versions of the browser perhaps.

Hello,
Using Firefox did not change anything.
The AniServer process is "running with Busy flag set".
Also I can not see discrepancy.
In the discrepancy portlet ( in Config-Dashboard) it says:
"Check if the ANI server is up and initiated".
I try to restart the ANI server process.
I try to restart LMS completely.
I Checked the LMS hostname: it is in the DNS
Here is the ANIServer detail:
Process Details |
|
Process: | ANIServer |
Path: | E:\CSCOpx\lib\jre\bin\java.exe |
Flags: | -Xbootclasspath:E:\CSCOpx\lib\jre\lib\jsse.jar, |
Startup: | Started automatically at boot. |
Dependencies: | EDS ANIDbEngine DCRServer |
Have you got an idea?
