Non ip protocol to get alarm

Dear all,

We need to get alarm if the any of Ap goes offline but that alarm should be on non ip protocol. 

Please suggest if any of industrial switch have this feature or any other way to get it

You are looking the device to send even when the port connected to AP goes down ?

its all depends on what NMS and Logging system in place - most case if you NMS if the port go down, you alert in NMS 

or if you syslog configured and get alerts if the AP port go down.

Ap goes offline but that alarm should be on non ip protocol. 

not sure if i understood correctly this - can you explain more.

I have read that there is a growing interest in developing non-IP protocol alternatives, as the entire TCP/IP stack is considered more and more to become a bottleneck in modern networks. There are organizations such as ETSI (link below) that work on these standards. That said, as far as I understand it, as of now, all of this is still in the experimental stage, and there are no real products available yet...

we need 90watt for each camera , can we use C2960 or 3850 switch?

and what is UPoE budget
