PI 2.0 Altering config when adding device.

Hi, We have just stood up a PI 2.0 install noticed something strange when checking the configs, In the configuration archives saw a load of devices with out of sync devices (mismatched running and start up configs.)

On checking seemed the "snmp-server location xxxx"  config was missing from the running but ok in the start up.

So I tested it on a device I knew had matching start up and running and the snmp-server location in it.

Seemed that once Prime had Synced the new device the command was removed.

Anyone else come accross this "feature"?

We also saw this issue and was told -

you are hitting bug CSCuj09556 , please find in the below link the bug details :
http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCuj09556

as a workaround , please perform the following :

Add/sync the device with RO community (to read the system location) and after that, change the community in PI to RW with following snmp view:

snmp-server view SYS_exclude system.6.0 excluded

snmp-server view SYS_exclude iso included

snmp-server community view SYS_exclude RW
