PI 2.1 virtualization

Hi everybody,

I have a question concerning PI 2.1 on virtualization system.

For one of my curstomer, we have installed PI 2.1 on ESXi 5.1. Virtual Hardware is in 7 version.

My customer plan to upgrade on vSphere cluster to 5.5 version.

My question is : what's the impact on PI installed on ESXi version 5.1 on ESXi 5.5 ?

It's working or not ?

I think if we do the upgrade we loose support from Cisco ?

Hi,

the "virtual machine hardware version" will be the same after upgrading to esx 5.1 or 5.5.

It's a manual process on each VM necessary to upgrade he hardware version to a higher level.

We upgraded to esx 5.5 without any problems.
