I have a newer Cisco WS-C3560CX-12PD-S switch that does not seem to be offering PoE on any of the ports. We have tried several poe enabled cameras that only require 15w, and the cameras do not boot up, no lights, no activity on the ports, nothing. The ports do not have poe disabled. I rebooted the switch, but poe is still not functioning. The switch is capable of around 30w per port. I'm at a loss at what else it could be.

The replacement switch fixed the issue! Yay. We just installed it today and all devices that need PoE are now working. Thx again everyone.

We attempted to plug in a Voip phone and that is not working either. Here is what I see in the log. Upgrade code? I see quite a few bug reports on these errors.

what is the distance between the device and switch ?
can you bring new patch lead - and get the phone nearer to switch connect and let us know.

We are plugging everything directly into the switch for testing purposes. So port 1/0/1 had a voip phone plugged directly into that port using a 3 feet patch cable. The phone is no longer plugged in but the output you asked for is below. Also we have tried several cameras as well. The switch acts the same for all poe devices. Same error that I posted earlier. And from what I am seeing, there is a bug with other versions so maybe that applies to this ios code? We have an identical switch on the same subnet that works just fine with the same cameras and test voip phone. The switch is the same exact model but two minor versions of code below what this current switch is running. My plan is to update the code in a few days and hope that fixes things unless you have other ideas? Port 1/0/9 is the port that a camera is currently plugged into.

Agreed this could be a bug, I read sometime back - reloading the Switch fix the issue?
is a non-impacted service connected to this switch reboot and test it.

I already reloaded the switch earlier today and it did not fix the issue.

Yes, upgrading the firmware is my next step.

I upgraded the firmware today to the recommended version and after a reload I am still not getting power to any of my ports. Does Cisco do RMA's on their devices if I do not have a service agreement on this particular device? I don't know what else it could possibly be at this point.
