 - Perhaps the router has ACL's or other access restrictions, preventing telnet from your PC.

No,it's not right,we can telnet to the device, but the telnet session will be closed quickly.

Hello!

Did you try to do telnet from cmd? did the port open? you also can try to use another terminal to connect to the device. Other hand... why do your switch not have ssh enabled? is it old?

Please do not forget to rate useful post.

Best Regards,

Thanks for your response! The Customer use CRT to telnet the ISR1841,he doesn't try to another PC or cmd. Our Customer just use telnet,i suggest he use ssh.He is very concerned about why Telnet has problems. In addition,if we telnet it from another Router,it's OK. We can see some logg as below: Log Buffer (4096 bytes): 13 01:28:12.522: IP: s=130.20.11.7 (local), d=130.20.1.18 (FastEthernet0/1), len 55, sending Jun 13 01:28:12.522: TCP src=23, dst=50112, seq=4004098123, ack=2164961056, win=4065 ACK PSH Jun 13 01:28:17.217: IP: tableid=0, s=130.20.11.7 (local), d=130.20.1.18 (FastEthernet0/1), routed via FIB Jun 13 01:28:17.217: IP: s=130.20.11.7 (local), d=130.20.1.18 (FastEthernet0/1), len 41, sending Jun 13 01:28:17.217: TCP src=23, dst=50112, seq=4004098138, ack=2164961057, win=4064 ACK PSH Jun 13 01:28:17.585: IP: tableid=0, s=130.20.11.7 (local), d=130.20.1.18 (FastEthernet0/1), routed via FIB Jun 13 01:28:17.585: IP: s=130.20.11.7 (local), d=130.20.1.18 (FastEthernet0/1), len 41, sending Jun 13 01:28:17.585: TCP src=23, dst=50112, seq=4004098139, ack=2164961058, win=4063 ACK PSH Jun 13 01:28:17.705: IP: tableid=0, s=130.20.11.7 (local), d=130.20.1.18 (FastEthernet0/1), routed via FIB Jun 13 01:28:17.705: IP: s=130.20.11.7 (local), d=130.20.1.18 (FastEthernet0/1), len 41, sending Jun 13 01:28:17.705: TCP src=23, dst=50112, seq=4004098140, ack=2164961059, win=4062 ACK PSH Jun 13 01:28:17.913: IP: tableid=0, s=130.20.11.7 (local), d=130.20.1.18 (FastEthernet0/1), routed via FIB Jun 13 01:28:17.913: IP: s=130.20.11.7 (local), d=130.20.1.18 (FastEthernet0/1), len 41, sending Jun 13 01:28:17.913: TCP src=23, dst=50112, seq=4004098141, ack=2164961060, win=4061 ACK PSH Jun 13 01:28:18.017: IP: tableid=0, s=130.20.11.7 (local), d=130.20.1.18 (FastEthernet0/1), routed via FIB Jun 13 01:28:18.017: IP: s=130.20.11.7 (local), d=130.20.1.18 (FastEthernet0/1), len 41, sending Jun 13 01:28:18.017: TCP src=23, dst=50112, seq=4004098142, ack=2164961061, win=4060 ACK PSH BR Moments
