Unable to discover SNMP info for Cisco ASA

Hi All,

We are using CA spectrum tool for monitoring our network infrastructure through SNMP.

For that we have enbaled SNMP on all the devices and able to discover them on CA Spectrum portal except our CISCO ASA 5580 firewall (Version 8.2(1)). We have done the below SNMP configuration on the Firewall.

snmp-server host OUTSIDE <ip address of Spectrum server > community *******
snmp-server community *****

Also we are able to ping the spectrum monitoring server from the ASA outside interface and as well as we are able to ping the ASA outside interface IP from Spectrum server.

Please let me know if anything else we need to configure for SNMP discovery of ASA.

You may want to use the inside interface instead of the outside to poll the ASA. Here is a document for troubleshooting SNMP and ASA's.
