We have a Cisco ASA 5505 firewall. It comes with a Basic license allowing only 2 simultaneous SSL vpn peers (AnyConnect client). I would like to upgrade to 5 or 10 allowed SSL vpn peers. I see that many licenses are now deprecated.
Any suggestion about how to manage to increase the number of simulaneous AnyConnect sessions?

Hi,
Yes, i would take the Plus license , instead of the VPN Only. The PN you gave is correct.

Hi,
You would need to buy 25 licenses of type AnyConnect Plus or AnyConnect VPN Only. See which one fits you better, from the Ordering Guide. Looking forward, it's better to buy Plus, as the 5505 will be replaced at some point, and you can reuse the licenses on the new VPN gateway.

Thank you for the answer.
Do I need to buy an AnyConnect Plus license (L-AC-PLS-LIC=) and 25 user licenses (L-AC-PLS-3Y-S1) for it to work?

I hope that you may find this discussion in the community to be helpful

And yes the original approach to licensing AnyConnect (the Essentials license, etc) have been deprecated so you would need one of the new licenses. Perhaps the VPN Only license rather than the Plus or Apex licenses.
