Using a Meraki switch with Cisco CER

Not applicable

Is it possible to use Cisco  Meraki switches to work in Cisco CER.

From looking at CER documentation it seems that Catalyst switches are required.
However, we were encouraged to purchase Meraki switches and now cannot get them
working in our CER enviorment.

Highly unlikely to be compatible.

I can confirm the Meraki MS225 and MS410 switches do work.  But the MS120's are not fully reporting their switch ports.

Anybody know why?

Krisko-
As per the Cisco Emergency Responder documentation, the Meraki MS120 switches are not supported. Only the below are supported:

Meraki MS210
Meraki MS225
Meraki MS250
Meraki MS320
Meraki MS350

This is absolutely possible!   The following Cisco Meraki switches are supported on Cisco Emergency Responder 12.5(1) as of January 17, 2020, found in the Cisco Emergency Responder Version 12.5(1) Release Notes

The deployment guide is over on the Meraki website, in case anyone is looking.  It can be found here, Cisco Emergency Responder Integration

DO YOU HAVE TO ENABLE CAM BASED TRACKING FOR PHONES CONNECTED TO MERAKI SWITCHES?

(SORRY, USING CAPS BECAUSE MY KEYBOARD DOESNT WORK W/O CAPS TODAY)

Hi Matthubach,

Thanks for clarifying on the caps

We do not have to enable CAM Based Phone Tracking for Meraki switches.

Hope this helps,

Dalton Woolsey
