ASA with AIP SSM-10 module

Hi all

I have an ASA 5520 with IPS-SSM module(ASA5520-AIP10-K9)and exta 4 port gig module(SSM-4GE).But i couldnt find any slot on the ASA to insert this module.Please advise on how to install this module

Hi Anva

ASA5520 has single SSM slot. Since you have AIP-SSM already installed on it; you can not add SSM-4GE. Only either one can be installed at a time.

So if i remove SSM slot and insert SSM-4GE it will work right?

Yes, the 5520 supports the SSM-4GE card.
