We are changing our 4200 from inline mode to promiscuous mode that is connected to our redunant 6509 core switches. Internally we disagree if we need to create a span on the 6509's to send the traffic to the 4200. Has anybody doen this or does anyone...

dear....i was able to use IDM before but after i upgarde the IPS from 5.1.5 image to 5.1.5E i lost and can not connect to sensor using IDM as before i enabled web tls port 8080 .....now i only use CLI to configure the IPS but i need to use IDM.....do...

I haven't had a chance to try this yet, but I need to NAT address that enter on one tunnel and exit on a different tunnel on the same interface.Can I use policy NAT where the source and destination is on the same interface?This is an ASA5520, can run...

I have a range of about 12 IP's xx.xx.xx.99-xx.xx.xx.110 that I need to allow http access to on my Pix. Is there a command to just allow that range so I don't have to set each one up seperately? Thanks!

What would be the best recommandation to configure FWSM:Router Mode or Transparent mode if I want to protect my Server Farm from all internal users inside my corporate company??Any advice are welcome..
