Help, IDSM-2 module errorly powerdown and can't come up?

Yesterday I install a new 5.0.2 image on IDSM-2 module and works fine. Then I try to upgrade the maintenance partition to version 3. it's popup a message and looks running and not finish for a long time. So I leave it there and go home. Today morning I found my windows is logoff by other guys so as my terminal was lost for it. I telnet to the Cat6500 and try log to the IDSM2, I can login but with account and the command prompt don't show up and a few minutes later disconncet me. So I try to reset the IDSM2 from the Cat6500 IOS. Then the IDSM2 module is powerdown and can't be bring up with command as folows:

002#hw module 12 reset mem-test-full

Device BOOT variable for reset = <empty>

Warning: Device list is not verified.

Proceed with reload of module?[confirm]

% module 12 is operationally off (Module Failed SCP dnld)

or I can not restart it by CiscoView. There is only a powerdown buton on this IDSM2 module and the Cat6513 switch is very important and I don't want to reboot it. Does anyone know how to fix the module or bring it up so I can reimage it?

At latter time, I try to upgrade another IDSM2 module maintenance partion, and I found out when the upgrade process is runing and I will be disconnected from IDSM2 in the same way. So that may be the reason why the system is down. But Why the maintance partion upgrade take a whole day and not finished? I still need a solution to bringup the IDSM2 module! Thanks a lot!

I had a similar problem.You may need to power the blade down and physically pull the blade from the chasis, wait 15 min, and then reseat the blade. This is the only way to completely power down everything including the hard drive.

Version 3 is not compatable with the IDSM-2.
