I'm trying to upgrade the OS on a PIX 515. The unit is currently running 4.4(5) and everytime I try to TFTP a new image from monitor> mode I get a checksum failure.
Any ideas what could be happening ?
Thanks,

My first guess would be a bad file. If you have not already, can you try re-downloading the image from CCO? What image are you trying to upgrade to?

That's what I was thinking. I've tried pix523.bin, pix622.bin,pix624.bin and pix 634.bin.
Perhaps I need to find a lower revision as an intermediary upgrade step.

Yeah I am with scotts post either a bad image or you may need to take steps in the upgrade process. The OS your trying to upgrade too may not be upgradeable from 4.4(5) you may want to read the text file.
