Nexus Dashboard - Backup for NDFC in multisite

Has anyone tried to backup the vND with a backup/DR software and have it replicate over to the DR site rather than setting up the cross-site cluster?  

In the midst of a design of multi-site but customer has issue to provide 50ms RTT for ND nodes. 

They are considering putting all nodes at one site and use Zerto to be the DR.  

Is it feasible?  Or, is it supported?

Answering to myself again, after getting a "secret" channel to ask the Nexus Dashboard TME.

The answer is, officially not verified by QA team and therefore not recommended. 

Even with vMotion, it is not officially supported.  

Official approach is build a new cluster, and use the backup/restore function with ND/NDFC.
