I wanted to ask your opinion regarding the best way to automate VXLAN/EVPN day 2 operations for NX-OS. I know there are multiple possibilities such as Ansible or Python.
I am not a big fan of Ansible as I find it difficult to code in YAML when advanced features are needed. However, Ansible's inventory is, I believe, mandatory to handle the different device types (leaf/spines/etc) in VXLAN/EVPN.
So I was thinking about Nornir, which uses an inventory and let you code in Python directly. However, it looks like there is no plugin for NETCONF at the moment.
What are you guys thinking? Do you have any recomendations?
