Hello team,

I have a question regarding NED support.

Is there production NED for Alucatel 7450 ESS?

I found 2 documents,

Latest NED support list on Devnet doesn’t describe Alu 7450, however previous NED support List on Devnet describe NED support Alu7450.

Hi,

If it’s the same south-bound interfacing (i.e. the ALU-SR OS), then the NED will support it. Just need to ensure that the required use-cases (configuration/CLI) are modelled in the NED. If not then raise a ticket and get it supported.

Generally, a NED is built per south-bound interfacing (i.e. the operating system). So the same NED can potentially be used for multiple platforms (cisco-ios for IOS, IOS-XR based platform) and are OS version agnostic.

Yes, our customer uses SR-OS on 7450.
