Could I have your advice on NSO + WAE integartion ?

Hi,

I'm planning to integrate the Cisco WAE + NSO for a PoC setup.

Current lab setup:

I'm using the ASR 9k serious physical routers for my underlay network connectivity.

Have done the NSO 4.2 version installation as well as  WAE server 6.4 installation and it's services are up and running.

Need a suggestion/help:

Please guide me on my lab setup validation as well as point me some of architectural document website to understand more possibility of lab setup scenario, licensing model, NSO + WAE versioning compatibility, configurations etc..

Please help me for the same.

Hi Kannan,

Thanks for your interest in WAE+NSO integration. Could you elaborate what use case you're trying to do?

FYI, WAE 7.1 was recently released that provide better integration with NSO.

I am trying to achieve the following use case initially,

1.Automating Network Topology Discovery

2. Automating LSP Path Activation & L2 VPN & L3 VPN Services.

Based on your previous reply, WAE 7.1 is a  better version to ingrate WAE + NSO.

Would be helpful, if you can guide me for solution integration/installation document, licensing requirement, availability of NSO pre developed  service package availability and NSO +WAE  configuration/execution  document.
