Missing NED-IDs after the upgrade

I upgraded NSO from 4.7.4 to 5.2.1, after the upgrade, all devices ned-id converted to netconf because missing ned-id presence.

admin@ncs(config)# devices device test-device1 device-type cli ned-id ?
Description: The NED Identity
Possible completions:
lsa-netconf netconf snmp
admin@ncs(config)#

NED-IDs appeared after the "packages reload" command but all the devices are pointing to "netconf".  is there a way to fix the issue without re-adding the devices?

Hi,

It looks like ncs hasn't found your NED. Confirm /ncs-run/packages directory contains your NED as this is where ncs goes to find the packages to load (NED is a package as well)
