Any issues connecting two terminal nodes with these cards to transport a couple of channels:

Node A: 40MUX, 40DMX

Node B: WSS32, 32DMX

I tried to model this in CTP but it doesn't appear to allow different mux and demux cards at each end, not sure what would happen if you used a 32 mux/demux model and just inserted the 40 mux/demux cards.

I'd think it would be a questionable configuration if you could even get it to work.

The 32 channel and 40 channel cards each use the same 8 bands with each using the same first four channels in each band and the 40 channel card uses a fifth channel in each. So when provisioning there would be nothing to prevent setting up a channel on the 40 channel card to go to the next node on an unsupported channel.
