Issue with Fiber & SFP %SFF8472-3-THRESHOLD_VIOLATION

Issue:

Please help on this issue , it would be helpful to fix the issue as soon as possible,

The operating values of the sfp look good to me.

The (high alarm) threshold values on the sfp seem to be incorrect though.

 

I found this in an old post:

...the current value is read from the DOM chip on board the SFP (presuming it has DOM support). 

This is compared with the threshold table, which is read from the IDPROM of the SFP upon bootup.  The threshold table itself can not be modified

 

So I assume that the threshhold table on your sfp is faulty.

If you have a chance, replace the sfp and see if the error occurs again.
