I have been unable to get an 8861 IP phone to see or connect/pair with my iPhone (12 Pro Max).
Software version on the 8861 is sip88xx.11-0-0MPP-7.loads
Bluetooth is set to On, Bluetooth mode is set to Phone (although i've tried "both" as well). When I go into Devices and press "Scan", it scans but doesn't see/find the iPhone. The iPhone is in the Bluetooth settings submenu when the scan is started, ie it is "discoverable", but isn't seen by the Cisco phone.
I have tried with multiple 8861 phones, and the same issue persists.
Would welcome any suggestions on how to fix the issue, thank you.

Instead of iPhone 12 try different phone either another iPhone model or android and see if it pairs.

Unfortunately the same. Tried with a factory reset Pixel 4a 5G, and the Cisco phone is still unable to "see" the Android phone when scanning.

Are you trying to "transfer" the 88xx phone to your iPhone via BLE?
I think this only works when the handset is running Enterprise Image and is WebEx enabled.
Otherwise, use a BT headset.
