911 Access with EM logout profile

Hi,

I'm getting ready to enable extension mobility and would like all phones that are logged out to still be able to access emergency services.

I have three different locations/gateways and the physical phones will always stay put, only the users move.

I seemed to remember a way to do this with seperate device / line CSSs but can't find the thread.

Can someone help?

Thanks,

Dave

You seem to have answered your own question in a way.

You can set the device to have a generic DN, Set a CSS on the line to block, Local, LD, In Iternational, but let the Device CSS have the default which is usually, Internal_PT, Line1-PT, VMPilotPoint-PT, TollFraud-PT, Site-Dev-PT.

Have translation patterns of

911 in the Line1-PT and have its CSS to E911-CSS which has access to a local RL/GW.

9911, in the Line1-PT, The Called Party Transform Mask of 911 and have CSS to E911-CSS which has the E911-PT in it.

Have a Route Pattern of 911 in the E911-PT

Kinda set it up like you would CER but do not point it to a CTI-Route Point but to the Route Pattern itself.

Since you have three sites you could have an Internal-PT for each location SiteX-Internal-PT, SiteY-Internal-PT and SiteZ-Internal-PT.

Have the Translation Patterns of 911 and 9911 for each Internal-PT and then have it route to its appropriate RL/GW.

I hope I am making since and this helps you if not just let me know.
