I would like to add logo on 7940. I use the idle url option. But the logo is not appearing on the screen.
To properly display logo on the screen what should i do?
Thanks

You can change the logo in two ways:
For all 7940/7960 ip phones in 'System->Enterprise Parameters': You have to point 'URL Idle' to a valid adress with the xml file with the logo that you would like to use, for example, http://192.168.0.239:8075/CiscoIPServices/logo/logo.asp. After that you have to set up 'URL Idle Time (sec)' with the time amount, in seconds, that ypu would like to wait until the ip phone shows the logo.
For a particular phone: you have to go to the phone set up page in CallManager administration and populate the two above properties in 'Cisco IP Phone - External Data Location'. In this way you can set up every telephone with different logos.
Hope this helps.

If you are using CallManager version 3.3, there was a bug where images were not shown the first time. If there is an "Update" softkey on your idle url, try pressing that and see if that helps.
