I have just setup Auto Qos (Layer2) on a 6509 Switch. Immediately enabling autoqos I seem to have been encountering massive slowdowns and disconnects during tape backup jobs through a pix firewall. Is there anything in Auto QOS that could be causing these tape backup problems? The backups between servers inside the firewall don't seem to be having any problems. Any thoughts? We are using veritas backup exec if that is of value.
