The backup process creates the log file, stiBack.log, under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Cisco\Logs on the backup server.
Locate this log file, and in the log file search for the words, "failed" or "fatal error," which indicate that the backup did not work properly. Then refer back to the section with the list of error message for a possible match and resolution for the error.
