I have a customer that wants to block a certain number calling a certain extension. eg
Calling Number = 01244 381551
Called Number = 345678
any suggestions on the best way to do this?

I am assuming you have CallManager, if so if your gateway is H.323 GW then you can use reject translation rules on the GW, if you use MGCP then there is nothibg you can do.

cderen is correct, CCM does not have the ability to block calls per calling number, you can only do this with H.323. Take a look to this document:

One method of doing this is to send all calls to unity first (for this number) then you can use a routing rule based on calling number and use a CH to send the call some where else (like a blocked message)
