Hi All,

We encountered an issue wherein the call was being disconnected every 30 mins during conference call.

As per checking, there is a existing bug on CUBE:

CUBE: Session refresh via sip UPDATE is consumed by CUBE CSCty36625

https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCty36625/?referring_site=bugquickviewclick

The current setting of SIP Session Timer under CM Service Parameter is set to 1800 by default or equivalent to 30 mins.

Here is the current config of the CUBE model 3945 under voice service voip:

=============================================

voice service voip
 ip address trusted list
  ipv4 X.X.X.X
  ipv4 X.X.X.X
  ipv4 X.X.X.X
  ipv4 X.X.X.X
 mode border-element
 allow-connections sip to sip
 no supplementary-service sip handle-replaces
 fax protocol t38 version 0 ls-redundancy 0 hs-redundancy 0 fallback none
 sip
  bind media source-interface GigabitEthernet0/0
  min-se 1800 session-expires 3600
  session refresh
  header-passing
  asserted-id pai
  asymmetric payload full
  no silent-discard untrusted
  history-info
  midcall-signaling passthru
  g729 annexb-all
  error-code-override options-keepalive failure 500
!

=============================================

My question is, can we upgrade the IOS version of the CUBE instead of applying the command as suggested on workaround however, the current version of the IOS is not listed on the known affected release. The current IOS version of our CUBE is 15.4.3M3. What IOS version should we use to fix the issue.

Thanks

Josh

Using the Bug Search Tool, the version with the fix greater than 15.3 is 15.6(1)SN.

Hi Joe,

Thank you for your response. However, 15.6(1)SN is not listed for 3945 model. Kindly see attached.

Hopefully someone from Cisco will respond here or to your case opened with them.
