CallManager 4.0 Call Waiting Issue

Hi People,

Anyone help with this strange issue?

If a user is on phone, I can call that user and ring back, whilst the user gets the call waiting beep. However if I press any keys while its ringing out, the user with call waiting hears the dtmf tones as I press the keys.

I have verified this in 4.0(2a)sr2a and sr2b, done a bug search and cannot find anything.

Can anyone shed any light on this at all??

Sounds like you are hitting this:

CSCef92187 - DTMF Played on Phone while still in Ringing State

Symptom:

DTMF Tone Heard While ofhook (in a call)

Conditions:

4001 Called 4004.

4004 Auto Answered The Call

4008 Called 4001 (Line 1 on the Device)

4001 Didn't Answer the call from 4008 Yet

4008 pressed Keys which 4001 was able to hear

Workaround:

None

Looks like this is fixed in 4.1(3). If you need the fix applied to 4.0(2a) please open a TAC case to confirm you are hitting the above and to see if we can add the fix to an ES for 4.0(2a).
