CCME uses at Hub with Remotes Registering over WAN (Codecs)

Is there a way to set the Codec when a call is placed using CCME and the phone is located across a wan? Since the Phones are registering to the Hub I am guessing the hub thinks it's a local phone and sets all calls to G.711. Would like the ability to change codecs accross the WAN so that it doesn't eat up so much bandwidth. ( Like G.729 or something.) Thank you

You can set the preferred codec on a per phone basis using the "codec" command in ephone configuration. Take a look at the following look.
