I have been told that changing a CallManagers IP address causes many problems. I need to move a cluster off of one subnet, and onto another. I found a Cisco document that describes how to do this...See URL....Anyone aware of any potential problems ? The CallManagers are at 3.3(3)

Cisco CallManager does not function properly if the Microsoft Windows hostname is changed after the installation of the Cisco CallManager on the Media Convergence Server (MCS) because the Structured Query Language (SQL) database does not support the hostname change. If a hostname change is inevitable, then the entire Cisco CallManager should be re-built.
However, changing the IP address of the server is supported and I do not think there is any potential issues on this.

You can change the IP address of the CM without any hassle. Under System configuratoin menu, if you have configured IP address for the CM server(s) you need to update them here too. Also under Enterprise parameters, if you are not using DNS names for the server, and have changed the fields to IP address of the server, these fields need to be updated too..

From my own experience, reverse the steps as stated in the document. What I mean is change all the reference points for the CCM IP address, before changing the IP address on the NIC. This should be the last step.
When I followed the doc. changing the IP address first of the server, and restarting it, I could not access CCMAdmin, and as a result could not change the references to my IP address.
