Choosing between MGCP or H.323-Which is the right choice?

We are in the installation stage of a new BE6000 using Cisco UCS C200M2 servers and a 2901 gateway.

How do you decide between using the MGCP or the H.323? What are the pro's and con's?

Also what are the configurations needed in the 2901 for MGCP and H.323?
