Cisco IP Phone 7941 Keypad Lock?

Hello All,

How to lock keypad of Cisco IP Phone 79XX? OR Is there any way to develop IP Phone Service for this purpose?

Hi Mudassir,

There is no such option on anything other than the 7920-7921 Wireless phones.

If you need such an option on the standard desk phones I would recommend Extension Mobility or FAC to restrict people dialling numbers they shouldn't be.

I see in Common Phone profile undrr Device Settingg the option of something like "phone lock key password" what's that for please.

This setting is related to the Wireless IP Phone 7920 and gives the user the ability to Lock down access to their personal directories etc. The description is nicely listed in this doc;
