Cisco Smart Software Manager - On Prem Satellite - Version 8-2022

Hi,

We need to move Cisco Smart Software manager Installed on virtual machine in a Host (UCS-C240-M3S) to New Host (UCS-C240-M5S).

Please suggest best way to move the CSSM server from one host to another. .

Also, is there any backup and restore option or any High Availability setup option ?? Pls suggest

You can do a couple of methods - snapshot/backup and restore depending on what works for you - snapshot/backup and restore.

check the user guide can help you, since you are moving to a new host take advantage by Upgrading to the latest version and HA covers below user guide

To move the VM between hosts you can use vmotion. On your other questions the answer is yes to both.
