I have 7960 with skkiny protocol installed and trying to convert it to SIP.
the logs on the TFTP server sais "could not open requested files for reading". the requested files are: CTLSEP00036BC972C4.tlv, SEP00036BC972C4.cnf.xml, RINGLIST.XML, DISTINCTIVERINGLIST.XML.
please advice what is wrong.
Thanks, Avi.

Avi,
follow the instructions on this link, and do not skip any step. you may have to do a progressive upgrade, meaning move to an intermediate SIP release before moving to the latest and greatest. Also beware that once you move up to the secure loads, there is no turning back.

We have been having this same issue.
It appears that Skinny phones running the newer versions of firmware are requesting a different set of files than those discussed in the document pointed to by the previous poster
The documentation for converting newer code to SIP needs to be updated and posted so we can all do this changeover

Thanks for the answers,
Appreciate any update for how to do it with the latest skkiny version.
