we are trying to Setup CWMS 2.5 on VMware via vCenter (5.1). OVA deployment was ok, no error occured. But when I start the vm I get an error while checking the credentials.
Hostname is ok and checked. IP Address raises an error "Network-Error 3-344" IPv4 Adress or Subnet Mask not valid". What does the System checks here? IP Adress entered is ok, DNS in forward and reverse lookup, too. When I set up another vm with the same Networking Environment on the host, I can use the ip and ping through the Gateway.
We even started the VM with an Centos Live CD to check the VCenter Settings: Using the VM Setting we can ping and use dns. so esx is ok.
In the documentation I do not see any description other than "check ip adress" on it.
Any ideas?
