Default PAssword for UCS-E card(UCS-E140S-M2/K9)

Hi,

I am configuring a new UCS-E card UCS-E140S-M2/K9 which is installed on a Cisco 4400 voice gateway..

When I login to CIMC , the default login credentials of admin/password do not work as per the Cisco website.

The Getting Started Guide for Cisco UCS E-Series Servers and the Cisco UCS E-Series Network Compute Engine - says :-

"When logging in for the first time to an unconfigured system, use admin as the username and password as the password."

However this doesn't work.

Can somebody please advise ?

If you do a "hw-module session <slot/card>" for the UCS, do the admin/password work on the CLI ?

Alternatively, you can do a "ucs subslot <slot> imc password-reset" command. The default should be "password" post that.

Im having the same issue, password reset didnt work for the IMC
