Hi all,
Is there any way to play a live stream (e.g from a DME ) directly to DMP through Digital Signs?
Thank you.

The DME supports the following live-streaming formats:
- Microsoft Windows Media
- MPEG-4/H.264
The Cisco Digital Media Player 4400G integrates with the Cisco Digital Media Manager to deliver:
Standards-based video codec support with MPEG1, MPEG2, and MPEG-4 Part 10, and MP3 audio, all deliverd within MPEG-2 TS over User Datagram Protocol (UDP) or RTP over RTSP (RTP over TCP) in both standard- and high-definition (SD and HD, respectively) formats
The key here is MPEG-2 TS. The DME encoders do not do this.
Options:
- Purchase an Encoder (ie. Scientific Atlanta) that supports MPEG-2 TS.
- Use a Transcoder to INGEST the Windows Media Stream(s) from the DME and
Transcode the WMV Live stream to MPEG-2 TS Stream.
