DMS Solution with ECDS Systems

Hi ,

         I wonder whether anyone deployed the DMS Solution ( TCS, MXE,TCS,DMM, Nexus on demad) with Cisco ECDS systems(MDE 3125/1125). I am working on a project where i need to deploy all these deviecs. I like to undestand the work flow between DMS components and ECDS devices. DMS Solution works as it suppose to, but dont have an idea how i can integrate this solutiuon with the ECDS devices. are there any step by step document to integrate the DMS solution with the ECDS.

Also, i found a document for  ECDS/SNS integration and they emntioned it needs the external streaming server for the Integration. Can some one confirm this?.

We are here for any help.I have some questions for the above devices which will be used on your project?.

1-Nexus on demand ? (digital signage or IPTV), what the version?.

2-Do you have SNS ?.

3-what is the goal of your project?.

Summary:

A-For Nexus on demand it is a famous company for digital signage and IPTV . Nexus on demand can control your end users (screens) by control Cisco DMPs. For any document for installation , please inform me.

B-For Cisco DMM , it is so important for SNS licenses and MXE registeration.

C-ECDS : is very important solution for SNS incoming requests from end users. ECDS consists of :-

1-SR: service router which will be responsible to resolve DNS of your SNS .

2-SE: Service engine which will be responsible to deliver the video content from your video streaming which you mentioned above , you can use (Wowza server).

3-CDSM: management to control all SR and SE.

E-Cisco MXE 3500:which will be responsible for transcoding and any formats based on your design.Do you have only on MXE3500 or you will build a cluster?. Please be careful with device installation.

Answers:
1. This is for DMP only , no IPTV
2. Yes, there is a SNS
3. Goal : TCS records the conference and MXE will transcode and send it to SNS portal. Also , from the SNS , users will upload the video into portal and it will send to MXE for transcoding and to view on the different endpoints likes iPhone, mac pc and iPad.

DMM wills manage the integration part between SnS and MXW,but don't manage the DMP . DMPs would be managed by nexus on demand.

Nexus on demand will create the content and push it to DMP and schedule the deployments .

ECDS is for wan optimisation for the content delivery , there are 3 MDE 3125 and 2 MDE 1125.

My understanding 1125 will be deploy to remote site and 3125 will be deploy in the data centre for service engine and service router and management .

Is there any step by step guide about how to configure the ECDS for DMS?

Also. Is there any work flows between the DMP and ECDS and SNS client to streaming server?

Do we need the external streaming server for this integration ?

1- . DMP will be used to present (presentations , videos,etc) which will be uploaded on Appspace.

3-You should use streaming server as (Wowza server or adobe) , please find the below links.

4-ECDS 1125 can be used for (CDSM , SR, External SE for external users).ECDS 3125 is responsible for (content Acquirer and service engine for internal users).Based on your design
