I was wondering if anyone knew what capabilities the DX70 or DX80 had in regards to PC or Mac integrations using the HDMI and USB ports.

Since I am using the DX80 as my primary monitor, ideally I would like to have the DX perform my speaker and microphone functions when connected to Mac OSX (my case) or Windows.

Another useful feature would be to be able to use the DX camera on the PC or Mac as web cam?

I am finding very little out on there. Roadmap maybe??

At this point in time, the DX80 does not accept audio input through the HDMI port, so you won't be able to use it as a speaker system for your PC/Mac.

There is no way to use the camera as a web cam off your device either - and never likely to be. The whole point of having a video device is to use it to make calls, not to share its camera with another device.
