Hi, was wondering if someone could throw some light on an issue I have at the moment with Cisco 7970 phones. Our customer uses Extension Mobility and when logging in and out of the 7970 IP Phone, they get the following error message:
'Error Updating Locale'
I did some research on this and found an issue whereby if certain Locale files are missing the Locale log is unable to be updated and so this error message temporarily flashes up on the screen. I also found a bug with the Call Manager service release I was running and have since updated to Call Manager 4.0 (2a) SR2, which is suppose to fix bug ID:CSCee28642: Default English Locales files missing for 7970
I have also updated the IP phones to the very latest Firmware Load ID.
I thought CCM SR2 would fix this problem but it does not seem to have done so. I have now run out of ideas, and before going to TAC, thought someone might be able to help?
