Is it possible to use ethernet switch port on an IP phone with 1000BaseTX available PC if IP Phone is connected through a 1000BaseTX switch?

No the 2 ethernet ports on the 7960/40 for example are 10/100mbps only. 100/1000BT NIC should autonegotiate to 100mbps with the IP Phone. Look on the back of the phone and atop of the ethernet ports you will see the speeds (10/100SW and 10/100pc).
