Hi,

1.Can I upgrade the CM memory from 1 GB to 2 GB with any memory or does cisco recommend its own memory.

2. Is it possible to have to Unity servers configured as primary and backup

3. Whats the recommended solution for backing up the Unity server

4. I have a unity server for 100 VM user license, I want to now upgrade to 300 users. How do I go about doing it.

1. Not sure about this issue, you'd better consult Cisco on this question (or company which sold you CM), but, at least at installation step it checks your platform and it must be one of the listed by Cisco;

2. Yes, it's possible; you can install failover server in your IPT infrastrucure, but you need to have license for it;

3. Again, not sure if there's a recommendation. I just make full hard drive image, just for a case;

4. You need to buy an upgrade license.

3. Unity has a backup tool called DiRT that you can use for backups, you can specify what you want to back up including messeges.
