Hi all,
Is there a way I can increase the speed of the rss ticker/scroller on a presentation so that it displays the feeds in a more faster pace? Is there any work arounds for this?
Thanks.

Nicholas,
AFAIK, you still can not modify or adjust the ticker speed from within
the DMD tool. Was your presentation created via the DMD?
If so you can deploy your to an external server and modify the JS file
itself. Note: this issue with this method is you can not upload the
changed presentation back to the DMM. The Presentation will need to
remain on the remote server and be modified manually from there going
forward.
OR
The other way is that you create your HTML + JS by yourself or with
any HTML tool you can/know how to use. Doing this you will have the
best control possible over your templates, but of course, not everyone
knows about HTML.

Thank You!

Being able to control the speed of the scroller has been on my product
wish list for a while.
That said, there is also a known issue with the scroll-left or scroll-right speeds in 5.2 and 5.2.1 codes. I had worked with TAC and a couple of Cisco TME's to have a patch created that improved the speed in these releases. The good news is that the 5.2.2 release seems to have the patch as part of the release.
If speed control is one of your needs, I suggest that you let your Cisco account team know that this is a real need. Maybe we will finally see it in the next release.
Hope this helps.
